Friday's Poem

I'm always thinking about the future, and all the things that will come to past from our present. What opportunity, hope, and life will the future hold for us? Will things turn out as what so many speculators say will happen? I don't know, because I can only "speculate" as they do. These are my thoughts about the future (but not all of it, because it nevertheless endlessly long). Check out my poem and let me hear your thoughts about it and the your view of the future.

What Future?

Here we are—waiting for something to happen
What is that something? Do you know?
Is it a future so bright and welcoming?
Or is it a future of nothing and despair?
So many of us wait in wonder for it to happen

DOOMSDAY—December 21, 2012.
Always these predictions, that people want
They know no end because they fear
The UNKNOWN and wish for it
To not happen, but at the same time
They want it to happen for they believe
It will, so no wonder it has begun

Have no FEAR, there is none to know
The devastation it will cause for us
Some will welcome it for a new start
Some will cringe in fear for death
And YOU will never understand its—
REASON.

Thursday's Poem

Many of us have witness snow and how it can transform into something beautiful but it can also be deadly. So here is a poem I've written about it. Tell me what you think of it. Thanks!

Snow Hits Us Hard

It hit us like a blizzard
We hardly knew what to expect
But only what we know so much
It hit us right in the heart
Where our base is the strongest

Do you know where that is?
It is strong like a feather
But holds deadly force
With tongue on ice and sting
That will crush our physical body

White, pure, and soft it falls
Down on us and stick on us
Like a gnat who knows no bounds
Of freedom and will catch us
By surprise and blind us

Have you felt it yet?
If you haven’t yet, you will
See its fierceness and cruelness
You cannot smell it for it smells
Like freshness hidden within the air

It will caress your face and body
But it will slip right under you
And make you fall so hard
It exists for you to love it
So that you feel its coldness

Wednesday's Poem

I was hella busy this past week, and I finally found the time to post up more poems. So, check them out. Please. Thanks.

What Do They Know?

Kenshin Himura says “the sky is high
Because we yearn to reach that in life”
Storm says “where there is faith there is hope”
What are these characters trying to say?
What do they know that is so important?

They hope to make us see there is more
Than what the eye sees or seeks to find
We are to reach beyond the limitless sky
We are to have trust in ourselves to fly
Blindly and hope for the best path

All these characters in past and present
Share their memories and experiences
With us to do better than they did
And in hope that the world will become
Greater than it was and reach prosperity

Tuesday's Poem

A haiku, actually an English haiku, for today. I hope you all like it. Sorry, I've been late posting up new poems. I've been really busy writing papers, reading assignments, and life. If I'm late posting up poems, I intend to post up a late poem for that day.

Well, here is the poem. Check it out and comment, please. Thanks! :D

Truth in a Flower

a flower blooms lots
of meanings and seeds for you
the food that seeks truth

Monday's Poem

Lasting Hopes of Life

Water, wind, and wisteria I smell you
You are everywhere to me and beyond
The sky that changes from hues of blue
I look at you for answers within my bond
Of unconscious mind that sleeps deep in slumber
I yearn to awaken that part of me
And reach for the best and greatest number
Will it be more than ten or less than three?
I aspire to make it there someday and will
Succeed as long as I never give up myself
I want to forget it all but that bill
Will never let me forget Santa’s elf
Helping him make ends meet for better and to thrive
In the holidays for everyone to enjoy
In peace and happiness for them to strive
For their best rather than becoming coy
I see now that I can never end this cycle
As long as it runs, I must run as well
Or I will disrupt the means of this cycle
I want to go back to those times I could dream
Is it impossible to wish for it?
I need to feel it like the flowing stream
I will go and do as I deem and never quit

Sunday's Poem

Steps of Reaching Something

Every day I grow older and wiser
Every step I become stronger and calmer
I’ve sprouted and become like a geyser
Who knows no fear or wrongs of a bomber

I want to feel the slowness of time
I want to be here and explore all
I can feel the breeze blowing my hair
I can feel the caresses of the grass

I paint the sky and blues and pink
What is one’s capacity of skills?
When does my ambitions end and begin?
Where do I start and end my goals in life?

I do what I must to survive and live
I endeavor all the great things and give
My hope and faith to all of my causes
And wish them no tragedy or pauses
And stops to meet them in any event

Saturday's Poem

*This poem is in dedication to the song “Let You Go” by TRAX, a Korean rock band of SM Entertainment.

Let You Go

Her:
I feel it so deeply
Do you feel the pain too?

I wonder how I let you go
I can’t seem to let you go

I feel wetness, is it my tears?
On my cheeks, hands, and heart

I want to eat what you eat
I want to see your face

All I see are these old pictures
These memories of happiness

Where did I go wrong?
Where did we go wrong?

Him:
I feel it too so deeply
This pain is hurting me

How could you let me go?
I don’t want to let you go

My tears can’t seem to stop
It’s everywhere on me and you

I remember all the things we ate
All I want to see is your face

These drawings of you I’ve drawn
My happiness of capturing your face

Where did I go wrong?
Where did we go wrong?

End:
Can this sadness ever end?
Can we ever be together again?
