Thursday's Poem

Many of us have witness snow and how it can transform into something beautiful but it can also be deadly. So here is a poem I've written about it. Tell me what you think of it. Thanks!

Snow Hits Us Hard

It hit us like a blizzard
We hardly knew what to expect
But only what we know so much
It hit us right in the heart
Where our base is the strongest

Do you know where that is?
It is strong like a feather
But holds deadly force
With tongue on ice and sting
That will crush our physical body

White, pure, and soft it falls
Down on us and stick on us
Like a gnat who knows no bounds
Of freedom and will catch us
By surprise and blind us

Have you felt it yet?
If you haven’t yet, you will
See its fierceness and cruelness
You cannot smell it for it smells
Like freshness hidden within the air

It will caress your face and body
But it will slip right under you
And make you fall so hard
It exists for you to love it
So that you feel its coldness
